Many of our international guests at The Millenials Shibuya are vegan or vegetarians and recently it has been a common trend among Japanese people. Some people start being vegan or vegetarian for moral reasons, while others adopt the new diet to lose weight.
In part one, we introduced two restaurants in Shibuya PARCO, a one-minute walk from the hotel, and in the part two, we will introduce spots within a three-minute walk where you can enjoy delicious vegan food that is popular among both guests and staff.

Milan Nataraj Shibuya
Milan Nataraj Shibuya is a natural Indian restaurant, which uses organic vegetables grown on its own farm and is additive-free, and is a three-minute walk from the hotel. From the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, the restaurant is located on Jingu-dori, passing through Park-dori.
Using the wisdom of Ayurveda, the ancient Indian medical system, all of the curries, including soybean meat, vegetable and bean curries, are made with a variety of spices and no meat or fish is used, down to the extract and broth. The restaurant offers a wide range of vegan, vegetarian, halal and five-garlic-free options.
The lunch buffet is a great deal. For 1,190 yen for 90 minutes on weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., you can enjoy four different daily curry dishes, two types of natural yeast naan, turmeric rice, salad and dessert (Add another 210 yen for brown rice!)
The curry, of course, is a great choice, as is the Komatsuna vegan naan as well as the butter naan.
The fact that it is a buffet means that you can eat as much as you like and it is very tasty, making the restaurant quite satisfying for vegans and non-vegans alike.
In addition to the buffet, there is a wide variety of delicious set menus such as the naan burger and course menus, so you can change the way you can try different dining options.
This is also a great option for those who plan on dining alone!
