FALAFEL BROTHERS Shibuya PARCO

First up is Falafel Brothers, a vegan restaurant from Israel located at RESTAURANT SEVEN on the 7th floor of Shibuya PARCO.

Falafel is made by mixing mashed chickpeas and other beans with several herbs and spices then deep frying them in oil. It is characterized by the flavor of cumin and coriander and tastes like curry-flavored croquettes.

At this restaurant, you can enjoy freshly fried crispy falafel in wraps, hamburgers, salad bowls and rice plates.

In addition to falafel, the menu offers a variety of light meals as well as main dishes, such as burgers made from veggie meat, curry, pizza, and Middle Eastern cuisine like hummus and samosas, which are all vegan so you can order without worrying.

Even more exciting are the vegan sweets.

From brownies and apple pie to pecan pie and cheesecake, there is a wide variety of vegan and even gluten-free options.

During the lunch hours from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., in addition to the regular menu, you can choose from four types of set menus: fried chicken, dumplings, combination (fried chicken & dumplings) and mapo tofu.

Moreover, the popular fried chicken made of soy meat is available in four types: Szechuan hot and sour, Chinese black vinegar, terimayo, and Nanban tartar, with a choice of seasonal sauce. Each friend chicken is so large and juicy that you would swear it was real meat.

The restaurant is popular among international customers and can be crowded, so we recommend a time slightly between peak lunch and dinner hours.

The restaurant is also active in environmental activism and welcomes customers to bring their own chopsticks and Tupperware. If you have them with you when you get take out, please let the restaurant staff know.
