1. Sharaku
Sharaku is situated in the heart of the Yanaka Ginza shopping street. Since October 4, 2023, their menu has undergone a revamp, transforming into a specialized establishment for Kobe beef, oden, fresh potato chips, and refreshing lemon sour. Conveniently, it’s just a 20-minute stroll from HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU. You can either walk directly or opt for a quick 5-minute train ride from Sendagi Station on the Chiyoda Line.
Honey lemon sour on the left, sherbet lemon sour on the right. A diverse range of original lemon sours is offered, each priced between 500 to 600 yen. Refreshing, sweet and tangy, they all pair seamlessly with oden. We highly recommend trying them out with friends.
Assortment of 7 types of oden priced at 1,200 yen. Shimi Shimi Oden is perfect for the upcoming season. Each piece is generously sized, allowing everyone to share and savor the flavors together.

2. Kurumaya
Kurumaya is a long-standing izakaya restaurant cherished by locals in Nezu. Conveniently located near HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU, it’s just a 7-minute walk away.
Even on weekdays, both the first and second-floor seats are consistently occupied, underscoring its popularity. The manager and other staff members were kind, creating an atmosphere that resonates with the warmth of an izakaya cherished by the Nezu community over the years. On the first floor, counter seats provide an opportunity to enjoy watching the food being prepared, and it’s common to see customers engaging in conversations with the friendly staff.
In addition to the recommended seasonal dishes, the standard fried chicken and skewers are also exquisite, showcasing the dedication of those preparing them. The extensive sake menu makes it an ideal spot for enthusiasts of alcoholic beverages.

3. Kushiya Kushizaru
Kushiya Kushizaru features a signboard depicting monkeys with various facial expressions. It takes about 10 minutes on foot to reach HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU.
Akadama punch looks fantastic in photos! It pairs well with kushikatsu and goes down smoothly. Additionally, the “Kushiya Set” (priced at 700 yen), which includes 3 kushikatsu of your choice and 1 drink of your choice, offers great value.
The colorful menu is playful and cute, offering a delightful range from standard options like meat, vegetables and fish to more whimsical choices such as cream cheese and iced bananas. The variety ensures you’ll never tire of trying new flavors. The service from the lady who attended to us was exceptionally kind and the overall atmosphere of the store was very comfortable.
