“THE LIVELY” celebrates its 5th anniversary.
At LIVELY HOTELS, our brand concept is to provide an “experiential value” where guests gain some form of personal update through their stay, rather than just offering the functional value of a place to sleep. As our flagship brand, “THE LIVELY” opened in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo in 2019. We aim to redefine hotels as “places where people, information, and opportunities gather from around the world,” offering stimulating guest experiences filled with new discoveries each time they visit. Since our opening, we have focused on the four keywords of “DESIGN, MUSIC, ART, and TECH,” incorporating new ideas, innovative concepts, and trends to create extraordinary scenes in guest stays and event planning. We have provided opportunities not only for our hotel guests but also for the local community and those interested in our hotels to visit easily.
This year, to commemorate the 5th anniversary of THE LIVELY, we will welcome everyone with events under the unified theme “We are THE LIVELY” at our three hotels, leveraging our journey so far to allow guests and the local community to experience the charm of our brand and facilities.
Anniversary Event “Edo Meets Azabujuban”
Located along the Azabu-Juban shopping street, which boasts a history of about 300 years, THE LIVELY TOKYO AZABUJUBAN stands in an area known for its fusion of traditional Japanese culture and modern influences, continuing its development since the Edo period. At this event, themed around the “Edo period,” we will welcome guests with unique experiences that highlight the history and culture that only THE LIVELY can offer. The event will feature DJ music with a traditional Japanese vibe, calligraphy performances synchronized with the music, projection mapping art, and a variety of culinary experiences, including event-exclusive cocktails by a guest bartender and a show featuring the disassembly of kanburi (winter yellowtail) by a popular local sushi restaurant—all for a one-night-only special occasion.
Enjoy a captivating evening at THE LIVELY TOKYO AZABUJUBAN, where the sophisticated and extraordinary space brings together the charm of both the old Edo period and modern-day Azabu-Juban.
The event will take place in two areas: the 2nd-floor lobby lounge and the 9th-floor bar. The 2nd-floor lobby lounge, which usually serves as a seating area for a workspace, lounge, and a playful area with billiards and chess, will be transformed into a photogenic and extraordinary space decorated to match the event’s theme, complemented by music and art. In the 9th-floor bar, with its view of Tokyo Tower, we will welcome guest bartender Sorato Nomura, who will create exclusive cocktails specifically for this event.
